Less is More - Smile

Ich glaube, das ist das erste Mal, daß ich bei Less is more mitmache. ... sollte ich öfters machen. Ich geb aber zu, daß es mir nicht gerade leicht gefallen ist, die Karte so einfach zu halten *gg*

I think that's the first time that I take part in the challenge of Less is more ... I should do this more often ... but I have to confess that it wasn't easy for me to keep the card so simple *gg*

Dieses Layout habe ich zum Mai-Sketch von Prima gemacht - verwendet habe ich natürlich auch fast ausschließlich Prima-Produkte ... diesmal vor allem die Fairybelle Kollektion, die ist ja soooo schön!

I have made this layout with the may sketch from Prima - of course I have used almost only products from Prima ... this time the fairybelle collection which is sooooo beautiful!

Dieses Minibook habe ich meiner Mutter zum Geburtstag gemacht. Nachdem sie sich jetzt eine neue Kamera gekauft hat und viel fotografiert, habe ich mir gedacht, kann sie in diesem Album ihre schönsten Fotos aufheben und herzeigen. Verwendet habe ich dafür hauptsächlich das Monatskit Oktober 2011 von Pipilonia und reiche das Minibook deshalb auch zur Challenge bei Scrap dein Kit ein.

Auch in diesem Minibook gibt es einige Fächer, wo man noch Fotos oder Journaling unterbringen kann. Es gibt einige Tags zum herausziehen und zwei Seiten mit Klappen. Eine Seite hat zwei kleine Türchen, die durch Primaflowers mit Bakers Twine verschlossen werden. ... aber am besten ihr seht es euch selbst an.

This minibook I have created for my mothers birthday. A few weeks ago she has bought a new camera and of course she makes many photos now. Therefore I thougt she could use this album to show her most beautiful photos. Mostly I have used the material kit of October 2011 from Pipilonia - so this minibook is also for the challenge at Scrap your kit.

In this minibook there are some pockets where additional photos or journaling can be put into. There are tags to take out, 2 pages with flaps and one page has 2 small "doors" which are closed with primaflowers & bakers twine. ... but it's better if you look for yourself.

Published!

Gerade habe ich eine e-mail bekommen, daß 5 (!!) Werke von mir in der SNR, die am 20. 5. erscheint, veröffentlicht werden! Wow, ich freu mich total und bin richtig aufgeregt. Bis jetzt wurde erst einmal ein Layout und eine Karte bei einer Mitmachaktion von der Scrapperin veröffentlicht.

Today I have received an e-mail that 5 (!!) creations of me will be published in SNR which will debut on May 20. I'm totally thrilled! Since now only one layout and one card have been published in "der Scrapperin" a German Srapbooking magazine.

Moos Faces

Diese Moos sind für die Challenge bei Moo Mania entstanden ... und weil's so schön war, gibt's noch ein ATC dazu.

These moos are created for the challenge of Moo Mania ... because it was so fun I made an ATC too.

Bei Vienna Impressions ist schwarz/weiß gefragt - zuerst hab ich ein Tag gemacht und dann noch eine Art Journal Seite.

Swimming & kleiner Workshop

Dieses Layout ist nach dem Sketch der Woche im SBT entstanden. Es hat mich schon lang gedrängt, wieder mal ein Mosaik zu machen - allerdings wollte ich kein "einfaches" Mosaik machen, sondern ein "bißchen mehr" und ich denke, das ist mir ganz gut gelungen. Nach den Bildern des Layouts findet ihr auch einen kleinen Workshop zu meiner Blume, die ich aus Spitze und einer Prima Flower gemacht habe. ... die Inspiration bekam ich dafür von Tim Holtz ;)

This layout is based on a sketch of the week of a German forum. For a long time I wanted to do a mosaik again but I didn't want to make a "simple one", it had to be a "little more" - I think I have reached my goal. After the pictures of my layout you will find a little workshop for my flower of lace and a Prima flower - I was inspired by Tim Holtz ;)

Ihr braucht geeignete Spitze & Nadel & Faden in der passenden Farbe

you will need lace, needle & thread in the same color

 

Am Ende des Fadens einen Knoten machen und unten an der Spitze den Faden einziehen.

make a knot on the end of the thread and then stitch the lace together

 

Wenn ihr genug Spitze für eine Blume mit dem Faden zusammengezogen habt, dann näht die Enden zusammen.

If you have enough lace for a flower stitch the ends together.

 Nun die Blume ein bißchen färben, ich habe dafür Distress Ink genommen.

Now color the flower a little bit - I have taken distress ink.

 Nun habe ich kleine Prima Flowers genommen und auch diese ein bißchen mit Distress Ink gefärbt.

Now take some small Prima flowers and color them too.

UTEE in den Melting Pot geben und schmelzen lassen.

give UTEE in the melting pot and let melt.

 Nun taucht die Blume mit der Vorderseite nach unten in den Meltingpot, wenn sie ganz bedeckt ist, nehmt sie heraus, lasst das UTEE abtropfen und legt sie auf euer Craft Sheet zum Trocknen.
Now dip your flower with the frontside into the UTEE. When it is fully covered take it out and let the UTEE drip off - put it on your craft sheet for drying.

 Nun die Prima Flower ins UTEE tauchen und trocknen lassen.

Now dip the Prima flower into the UTEE and let dry.

 Die Spitzenblume ein bißchen anwärmen, damit das UTEE leicht anschmilzt, danach sofort die Prima Flower draufdrücken.
Let the UTEE on your lace flower melt a bit, then put your Prima flower on it

 

So sieht die fertige Blume aus.

Here's the finished flower.
