Altered Book with Tando Creative

Yesterday was my workshop of this Altered Book ... if you'd like to create one yourself, there's another workshop coming in the end of May.

For this book I have used many, many beautiful things eg Tando Creative chipboards, Prima Marketing papers ...

 

 

 

Altered Tin

Here you can see how the tin looked before altering:

I painted it with gesso and colored it with AAIs. Then I took some paper of my Tim Holtz stash, colored it with Distress Stains and glued it down together with some lace and the chain. The lock is by Artemio, colored with Glimmer Glam. The flowers are by Prima - sprayed with Glimmer Mist.

Flying altered CD

Today I'd like to show you an altered CD for Tando Creative. I have used the mini birds - oh I love them, they are so cute!

The CD I have coated with gesso, colored with AAIs and stamped on it. The birds are colored with Distress Stains.

Ikea Lamp

I love to alter these table lamps from ikea. This lamp I have altered for a friend's birthday and she loved it very much!!

I have taken red pepper AAI and sunset orange AAI to color the lamp. Then I stamped with Archival Jet Black - for stamping on glass it's important to use waterproof ink. The beautiful stamps are - again - from Designs by Ryn.

On this side I used the school of fish set, water droplets, coral set and kelp.

When everything was stamped and dry I used stickles to highlight - perhaps you can guess the shimmering effect.

Tando Creative - Autumn

Today it's my turn over at the Tando Creative Blog. For this weeks theme "autumn" I have created a welcome bird hanging in the colors of autumn. I have used an old kit I have bought 2 years ago ... I love the colors and especially the scarecrow!

Sneak - Altered Book

Die letzten Tage habe ich an einem Altered Book für einen Kurs im Herbst gearbeitet. Details folgen im September/Oktober, aber einen kleinen Sneak habe ich für euch.

The last days I have worked on an altered book for a class in autumn. I will post the details in September/October, but here you can see a little sneak.

Altered CD - romantic steampunk

Heute geht mein erster Post am Tando Creative Blog online. Das Blogthema diese Woche ist "rund" bzw Kreise. Ich habe dazu eine Altered CD gemacht. Verwendet habe ich dazu die tollen Zahnräder aus dem Grabbag von Tando Creative.

Follow your heart

Das war einmal eine Zuckerdose, diese hab ich mit diversen Papieren von My Minds Eye (zum Teil Motive ausgeschnitten) und einer Blume von Prima verschönert. Ich reiche sie zur aktuellen Challenge von MME ein, ich denke ausgeschnitten ist hier genug ;)

This was a sugar can which I have altered with some papers from My Minds Eye (partly cutted out) and a Prima flower. I link this to the challenge of MME - I think there is cutted out enough ;)
