Challenge accepted: Create your own Background & Stencils

Für die aktuelle Cut It Up Challenge "Create Your Own Background" habe ich eine Mixed-Media-Karte mit Distress Inks, selbst gestalteten Stencils und meinem Brother SDX gestaltet. Das komplette Tutorial findet ihr auch als YouTube-Video

Nun, ich zeige euch hier aber natürlich auch gern die Karte.

Für den Hintergrund habe ich Distress Inks und Oxides verwendet. Natürlich musste die Karte türkis/blau werden, das sind meine Lieblingsfarben.

Es kamen auch meine selbst entworfenen Stencils zum Einsatz, das ist im Video natürlich besser zu sehen, als hier auf der fertigen Karte. Deshalb möchte ich die Karte auch bei der Challenge von Stencil Fun einreichen.

Die Blätter habe ich mit meinem neuen Schneidplotter Brother SDX ausgeschnitten und danach mit Distress eingefärbt.

Den Schmetterling habe ich 2x gestempelt. Einmal auf der Karte und ein zweites Mal auf einer dünnen Folie. Diesen Abdruck musste ich einige Zeit trocknen lassen und dann ausschneiden. 

Danach noch ein paar Halbperlen und Stickles drauf und fertig war die Karte.

Kranz-Karte mit der süßen Hazel

Diese Karte entstand wieder mit Digistamps von kreativzauber_by_nilu, diese findet ihr auf Instagram. Bis morgen Abend gibt es bei ihr auch noch genau dieses süße Set mit Digistamps und Outlines als Freebie. Also schaut unbedingt bei ihr vorbei!

 

Zuerst habe ich die Plattform mit Distress Inks, meinen selbst gestalteten Stencils und Strukturpaste gestaltet. Anschließend wurde der Kranz in mühevoller Kleinstarbeit von Hand ausgeschnitten. Hazel und das Glas durfte dagegen mein Brother SDX ausschneiden.

Hazel wird übrigens von einer dünnen, transparenten Folie gehalten. Dadurch entsteht der Eindruck, als würde sie mitten im Kranz schweben.

Zurück am Basteltisch, herzlich willkommen in meiner kreativen Welt

Nach einer (erzwungenen) langen Bastelpause kann ich endlich wieder kreativ sein. Jahrelang haben mich meine Hände ausgebremst und sofort mit einer Sehnenscheidenentzündung reagiert. Seit etwa einem Jahr klappt das Basteln zum Glück wieder, und ich gestalte wieder regelmäßig ATCs, die ich bisher hauptsächlich in einer Facebook-Gruppe getauscht habe.

Jetzt möchte ich meinen kreativen Horizont aber wieder erweitern – auf Karten, Layouts (eines habe ich bereits gemacht, das zeige ich euch ein anderes Mal), Art Journals und vieles mehr. Dafür sind auch ein paar neue Helfer bei mir eingezogen: ein neuer Drucker für Digistamps, an denen ich inzwischen kaum noch vorbeikomme, und ein Brother SDX Schneidplotter.

Doch jetzt genug geschrieben – ich möchte euch zwei Werke zeigen, die in der letzten Woche entstanden sind.

Türkis und Blau gehören einfach zu meinen absoluten Lieblingsfarben – deshalb musste diese Karte genau in diesen Tönen entstehen. Außerdem kamen zwei Stencils zum Einsatz, die ich selbst entworfen und mit meinem Brother SDX geplottet habe. Ein bisschen Glitzer darf natürlich auch nicht fehlen. Die Stempel sind von Tim Holtz.

Diese kleine Shadowbox habe ich ebenfalls mit dem Brother SDX ausgeschnitten. Der süße Digistamp mit Ciara stammt von @kreativzauber_by_nilu – schaut unbedingt einmal auf ihrem Instagram-Profil vorbei.

Bingo Birthday Card

I have made this card for two challenges at Splitcoaststampers. Stamps are from 100 Proof Press. I colored the butterfly stamp first with distress markers (crushed olive, worn lipstick and vintage photo), sprayed it with water and stamped it on a separate piece of paper to cut it out. Now I used the stamp positioner to stamp the butterfly again but this time with Archival Ink Coffee.

FwA #89 & Tando Creative Masks

As you can see on my ATC at Fun with ATCs we'd like to see "under water" ATCs. This ATC was created with one of the beautiful masks of Tando Creative and some of the great stamps of Designs by Ryn.


This card was also created with a mask and a chipboard shape of Tando Creative. Perhaps you can see the effect of the glimmer mist better on the next picture.
